The Lives of Same Sex Couples

Are you aware that same sex couples do not do any harm in the society? Even though same sex couples may not yet take pleasure in full freedom under the law, and in every state, same sex marriages, by the nature and character of the couples, do benefit from a certain freedom. Freedom from the traditions and outlook that so many opposite sex couples may find them involved in. Gay marriage is to some extent, a right measure of what a wedding should be about. Two persons, who despite many odds, have found a soul mate, and desire to share the joy of their emotion, and that recognition, with others with whom they have an emotional attachment. Who says it is not right?

same-sex-coupleThis freedom from custom spans across many of the standard wedding elements from the rite itself, to the vows, to the style of “dress” or tuxedo, to what we consider the most significant and important symbol of all – the exchange of two “circles without end” the wedding bands. It is not right for us people to judge the two who have the same sex that they don’t belong in this world. As long as they don’t do any troubles, let them be happy.

Now, if you question how they can bear a child if they do have same sex, there is always a remedy for that. Same-sex couples may be able to adopt kids soon. Let me ask you these: Is a child better off a part of a nuclear family? Can it be proven that children are ill-treated or deserted when their parents are same-sex couples? Is a certain level of naivety to what parents do behind closed doors more helpful to a child’s development? We can never tell that only nuclear parents can raise their kids properly because there are some cases that the father of the kid maltreated her or did something malicious to the child. Therefore, it is not good to say bad things against them. They are people too, who just love the same sex, and there’s nothing we can do about it!
